The views from Marren are all to do with the sea and the weather. We are 300 feet above sea level so we look down on the sea and the light is always changing. If it is calm the blue of the sky and glare of the sun is reflected; if it is windy the waves are constantly moving. In Weymouth Bay there are always ships coming and going – tankers, warships, square riggers, yachts.

The most spectacular time is sunset on a calm day when the sun sinks into the sea in a ball of flame.
